Alan owns and runs the YouTube channel Third String Kicker with Danny Jordan. Together they have produced over 200 sketches and award winning short films and have amassed over 150,000 subscribers. They write, direct, act, and edit everything they create. We like to focus more on story, characters, and dialogue.

Originally from the small town of Lebanon, Oregon, Alan grew up participating in almost every activity he could get his hands on, theater, band, soccer, wrestling, tennis, mock government, and choir, just to name a few. Later on he went to school at the University of Portland where he attained a degree in Theatre (Cum Laude). In Los Angeles Alan studied Meisner at Playhouse West but also trained at Second City, iO Wet, and Dell Arte.

Alan is a huge film buff who enjoys cinema from every genre. His favorite film is The Third Man. He believes that we go to the movies to have an experience that is compelling and is not just restricted to escapism.
